I live on Branford Harbor on the Connecticut shoreline….the water and my gardens are the inspiration for all my paintings. It’s a constantly changing vision….storms, winds, waves and the sky are what I try to capture.
My work is done without brushes. I use a process which involves rubbing and pouring paint onto my canvases. There are 10-15 layers of thin paint to obtain my final vision. I have no formal art education but have always loved to experiment with materials and styles….I like to work by doing a series of 6-10 large paintings of different sizes.
