Victoria designs futuristic and dreamy objects in 3d, which she later captures in the form of digital images. Captivated by digital art about ten years ago, Victoria started experimenting in between the lines of contemporary Architecture, computational techniques and art. VG has a Design Practice based in Houston called VG Studio and currently designs objects, landscape and buildings at multiple scales. Designs include structures, landscape and furniture for the Lee and Joe Jamail Skate Park in Houston, and also a recent competition won for building an ‘art bench’ underwritten by the Woodlands Waterway Art Council located in the Woodlands Waterway Square by the water. Victoria works with parametric tools and computational design; research tools and new fabrication technologies are part of her daily practice and teaching agenda at the University of Houston, mostly favoring collaborative practices. She has extensive building experience, as she is a licensed Architect in Buenos Aires, Argentina, she also has work experience in London, UK and Houston, TX. Commissioned works include interior design, shading pavilions, landscape and lighting features as well as rendered images.
